Meditation and yoga will include opportunities to both move and be still. Mindful asana practice can feel like meditation in motion. Walking meditation is literally meditation in motion. Here at Half Asana Acres, we will help you learn or refine your meditation practice from movement into stillness. You will get the opportunity to try many different techniques, discovering how concentration leads to meditation. Mala beads, walking, mantras, energy work and spirituality can all lead you to a place of stillness in the mind.
We will discuss many different approaches to meditation, the modern science and research of meditation and personal experiences of meditation will be shared.
Beginners to experienced meditators. All are welcome and can find a place to be!
