Nutrition and Healthy Cooking

Sarah Lynn studied to be a dietitian during college and changed her major to Home Economics and taught healthy cooking and nutrition in the public school system for over a decade. She has a degree in Integrative Medicine which defined much of the underlying science of food and how it fuels and inhibits the human body. The gap between understanding nutrition and healthy eating is often cooking.

Learn a system for cooking that will allow you to prep and do most of the cooking once a week. This system will allow for you to eat what and when you need yet still eat within the community of your family, keeping food social and accessible.

Nutrition and Healthy Cooking will help you assign priorities to your nutrition such as eating for weight loss, anti-inflammatory reasons, avoiding food sensitivities, focusing on clean eating and/or eating for vitality.

Food preparation will be shared throughout the weekend. Bring your favorite kitchen knife and a cutting board. For kicks and giggles, bring your favorite Tupperware or pyrex.

Sarah Lynn is adept at working with people’s food sensitivities. Be very specific in your registration form about your eating needs.
